Getting back into photojournalism.

In small steps, mind you...

Today was the first day it snowed in town, and we are forecast to have more everyday this week. Snow does something to the countryside that turns ordinary hills and pine trees into something almost... well, magical I suppose.

So I took a quick drive in the hills east of Coeur d'Alene, just north of Fernan Lake, to take in a little of the majesty. I wasn't out for more than an hour, but in that time I snapped some photos that you might see an outdoor life magazine.

Not too shabby...

I like Bambi (of course). Is that a fox hiding back there? And the turkeys look delish!

Nevermind, I see her now. It's Bambi's mom.
